Skippa Star Tami is 100% Weiscamp bred. Since the 1930's, Hank Weiscamp has been very particular about the type of horses he used for his breeding program. He preferred a horse with refinement but they also had to have color. He has always been outspoken about the AQHA restrictions on color. Weiscamp was raising paint horses long before there was a paint horse registry.

In his 60+ years as a breeder, Weiscamp produced horses with a very consistant look and refinement to them. In 1994 Hank Weiscamp was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Association's Hall of Fame at their annual convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
